Minor split at a fold, otherwise very good condition.<BR>Partly-printed document signed, "<I>William H. Seward</B></I>", one page on vellum, 11.25" x 18", Washington, D.C., May 28, 1861. A diplomatic passport for John Randolph Clay. Stamped by the French consulate at London.
