3pc 2000-S, 2001-S, and 2002-S NGC PF 69 Ultra Cameo 10c Roosevelt Dimes
Three-piece collection of United States Roosevelt dimes, each struck in silver at the San Francisco Mint and bearing the "S" mintmark, dated 2000, 2001, and 2002. All three coins are certified by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) with a grade of PF69 Ultra Cameo, indicating near-flawless proof condition and strong visual contrast between deeply mirrored fields and frosted design elements. Each dime is encapsulated in a tamper-evident NGC holder with an identification label confirming the year, mintmark, denomination, and Ultra Cameo designation. The obverse of each coin features a detailed left-facing portrait of Franklin D. Roosevelt, the 32nd President of the United States, designed by John R. Sinnock. The design is surrounded by the inscriptions LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the year of issue, with the S mintmark appearing to the lower right of the portrait. The reverse side, also designed by John R. Sinnock, depicts a torch flanked by an olive branch on the left and an oak branch on the right, symbolizing liberty, peace, and strength. The torch is placed in front of the national motto E PLURIBUS UNUM, divided across the central devices. Encircling the design are the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA at the top and ONE DIME at the bottom, denoting the coin's country of origin and denomination. These silver proof dimes were originally issued as part of the U.S. Mint's annual proof sets and were struck using specially prepared dies to achieve a high level of detail and reflectivity. Each coin is composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. This matched set provides a representative sample of early 21st-century Roosevelt proof coinage in premium certified condition, appealing to collectors of modern U.S. proof coinage and silver numismatics alike. A slab: 2.25"L x 0.5"W x 3.25"H. Coin diameter: 17.9mm.
