*Rare; Mintage of <500!* SN: 47279 MFR. Very unique series bar put out by Engelhard in the early-mid 1970s with the "MFR" (Metals Fabrication & Refining) designation. While reportedly many examples of this designation were melted down during the 1980s, this surviving, odd weight class example shines as a true testament to the pride and workmanship Engelhard was known for. An attractive piece for any vintage silver collector! (Tax Exempt)
