STAR WARS: ATTACK OF THE CLONES (2002) - Obi-Wan Kenobi's (Ewan McGregor) Dueling Lightsaber Hilt with Production-Made Blade - Obi-Wan Kenobi's (Ewan McGregor) dueling lightsaber hilt from George Lucas' Star Wars: Attack of the Clones with a blade from the production of The Phantom Menace. Jedi Master Obi-Wan wielded his signature blue lightsaber throughout both films, with the version he used during his fight with Jango Fett (Temuera Morrison) on Kamino a reconstruction of the lightsaber he used to duel Darth Maul (Ray Park).

This lightsaber hilt features a ridged resin handgrip with a rounded pommel cap inset with a threaded steel rod and painted silver-color, black, and red to simulate a metallic finish. The threaded rod allowed for installation of aluminum blades that were used for dueling sequences and replaced frequently as they were damaged on set.

This metal "blade" (staff) was designed to be affixed to a hilt for dueling sequences during the production, but ultimately unused during filming. It is wrapped with green tape and features two holes, as well as larger Allen head set screws used to lock the blade to the hilt, a design used for production of The Phantom Menace. The hilt exhibits minor cracks in the resin and staining on the rod, while the blade is very clean and exhibits no signs of use. Dimensions: 48" x 2" x 2" (122 cm x 5 cm x 5 cm)

Estimate: $25,000 - 50,000
