STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION (T.V. SERIES, 1987 - 1988) - Dr. Beverly Crusher's (Gates McFadden) Season 1 Lab Coat - Dr. Beverly Crusher's (Gates McFadden) lab coat from Season 1 of the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation. Crusher wore her lab coat throughout the series, with this particular style worn starting after the pilot episode, "Encounter at Farpoint," until a new style was introduced upon Crusher's return in Season 3.

This teal cotton lab coat features two front pockets, distinctive topstitching, and a standing collar. Also included is a paper wardrobe tag hand-marked "TNG" with the character and performer names. The coat exhibits some staining, specifically to the sleeves.Though their long and celebrated careers in the Star Trek world began in features, Michael and Denise Okuda established themselves as franchise legends while working on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Michael became art supervisor on TNG, while Denise came on as a scenic artist during Deep Space Nine, roles they would continue to perform through Voyager, Enterprise, and the Next Generation films. Married in 1993, the Okudas are known as the driving forces behind the development of many of the now-iconic 24th-century technologies seen throughout the series, including the famous "Okudagrams" they created for the LCARS (Library Computer Access and Retrieval System) interfaces . Propstore is proud to present a selection of key memorabilia from the personal collection of one of the franchise's most important creative teams to the public for the first time.
