STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION (1987-1994) - TR 560 Tricorder VI with Hand Scanner - A TR 560 Tricorder VI with a hand scanner from the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation. Designed by Rick Sternbach, the TR 560 was the first new tricorder created for The Next Generation and was the Starfleet standard for the first two seasons of the series, subsequently replaced by the TR 580 Tricorder VII.

This cast resin tricorder originated from the collection of series makeup artist Gerald Quist, to whom it was gifted during production. It is painted gray and features a hinged, flip-open design; decals depicting small buttons and a viewscreen; additional adhered embellishments; a label identifying it as a "TR 560 Tricorder VI"; and a slot containing a matching resin hand scanner that can be taken out. The main face of the device can be removed to reveal a "B" marking inside. The tricorder exhibits scuffing and paint chipping throughout, as well as some staining. Dimensions: 4" x 3.25" x 2" (10.25 cm x 8.5 cm x 5.25 cm)

Estimate: $6,000 - 12,000
