.36 caliber Whitney percussion Civil War era revolver. Serial #11862, in fair to good condition. The revolver shows traces of original blue within a brown patina, light to slightly heavy scattered erosion and surface pitting. Goodbarrel address, small inspector's initials on barrel frame and cylinder. No visible cartouche on grips which are in fair condition and would be good other than two large chips from the left bottom grip. The action is tight, the bore isgood. These Whitney Navy's saw action in the civil war. Est: $800 - $1,600
