STAR TREK: NEMESIS (2002) - Screen-Matched Distressed USS Enterprise-E Oversized Filming Model Saucer Segment - A screen-matched, oversized distressed USS Enterprise-E saucer filming model from Stuart Baird's Star Trek: Nemesis. Points of distress on this model screen-match it to when Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) rammed the Enterprise head-first into Praetor Shinzon's (Tom Hardy) ship Scimitar in a last-ditch attempt to thwart the Romulan clone's plans to destroy life on earth.

Created for close-up SFX inserts of the starships colliding, this massive model of the Enterprise's iconic front dome is constructed from fiberglass covered with a rigid foam shell. Painted in shades of gray with black and reflective yellow decals to simulate windows and lights, its hull is labeled "U.S.S. Enterprise" with number "NCC-1701-E." Three wood blocks and various screws used for attachment and operation are affixed to the underside of the saucer.

Production intentionally distressed this model to appear as burned by lasers and torpedoes with a breach in the hull and accompanying mesh designed to resemble damaged structural scaffolding. In addition, the saucer exhibits discoloration on the fiberglass and a buildup of grime from age and handling. Dimensions: 45" x 97" x 1" (114.25 cm x 246.25 cm x 2.5)
