STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE (T.V. SERIES, 2005) - Michael and Denise Okuda Collection: Set of 32 Constitution-Class Console Panel Backups - A set of 32 Constitution-class console panel backups from the television series Star Trek: Enterprise. In the Season 4 two-parter, "In a Mirror, Darkly," the mirror universe Jonathan Archer (Scott Bakula) and his crew discovered the Constitution-class USS Defiant, which had been transported both from the prime universe and from the century ahead, and featured 23rd century graphics on its consoles.

This lot comes from the collection of celebrated Star Trek franchise artists and advisors Michael and Denise Okuda. It consists of 32 black plastic transparency sheets with red, yellow, orange, and green graphics depicting the information that would appear on console panels throughout the starship, including labeled graphs and a "Shipwide Environmental Status" with top and side diagrams of the starship. They were designed to be backlit on set, with the colorful graphics appearing to glow on the ship's consoles. As these are backups, they exhibit only minor signs of wear, including light scratching. Dimensions: (largest) 14" x 11.5" (35.75 cm x 29.25 cm)Though their long and celebrated careers in the Star Trek world began in features, Michael and Denise Okuda established themselves as franchise legends while working on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Michael became art supervisor on TNG, while Denise came on as a scenic artist during Deep Space Nine, roles they would continue to perform through Voyager, Enterprise, and the Next Generation films. Married in 1993, the Okudas are known as the driving forces behind the development of many of the now-iconic 24th-century technologies seen throughout the series, including the famous "Okudagrams" they created for the LCARS (Library Computer Access and Retrieval System) interfaces . Propstore is proud to present a selection of key memorabilia from the personal collection of one of the franchise's most important creative teams to the public for the first time.
