3 piece woodblock print or triptych showing the death of the samurai against Japanese modern forces circa 1870s in the historical theme of what the movie “The Last Samurai” was accurately derived from. The woodblock is approximately 14” x 27 ½ ” each section approximately 14” x 9”. The right and left corners show chop marks, signatures and probably describe the events where cannon are being fired. The colors are still vibrantand the condition is good with a couple of small areas of slight damage in the right image. Est.: $350-$700
