3 Consecutive Drawings Art Spongebob Original Animation
This original animation art pencil drawing was done for SpongeBob Squarepants. Some of the notations are: B5A, B.D, B5, and B1A-B . Offered here are three consecutive drawings of Spongebob, Patrick, and Gary. On three, push. One... Two... Three, PUSH!! * The story takes place under the deep blue sea in Bikini Bottom, where SpongeBob resides. SpongeBob, who is a yellow, porous sponge, is your typical happy-go-lucky character, as he is always cheerful and enjoys making people laugh. Patrick Star, SpongeBob's neighbor who is a starfish, is your average children's show idiot, as he boasts knowing nothing and is often getting himself into ridiculous situations. Between the homes of these two lies the home of the miserable Squidward, a squid, who is known for being grouchy and playing tricks on SpongeBob and Patrick. Both SpongeBob and Squidward work at the Krusty Krab, a fast food business run by the greedy money-loving Mr. Krabs, a crab, the arch rival of the evil, possibly misunderstood, Plankton. Another neighbor, Sandy Cheeks, an athletic squirrel who normally wears an astronaut's space suit, was introduced in "Tea at the Treedome." She spends most of her time inventing and experimenting. * Original "rough" animation drawing, in black pencil, with notations in black. The bottom of Spongebob's pants (in the first drawing) are outlined in non-photo blue Overall size is a 12-field drawing that is 10 1/2" × 12 1/2" Excellent condition Traditional animation is a multi-step process which includes various types of art techniques. Drawings are a key part of the process, in which the animator creates the design and movement of the characters. Drawings are then transferred onto acetate cels (by hand-inking and/or photo copying) to create a production cel, which is then hand painted on the back side, using paint colors chosen and approved by the creator of the series. * This drawing is ready to framed and matted. The animator's notations are shown at the bottom and top of the drawing. *
