These three black panels are made of wood and come from the China of the late Qing dynasty (1644-1912). Each room divider is decorated with a large central cartouche on the front and on the back. They show an elephant on one side and a vase with a lotus flower on the other side. These depictions carved in relief small, are framed by rectangular segments, which are partly decorated with further lotus flowers.



The panels are in good condition with signs of age and wear such as drying cracks. Each panel is mounted on an holder and has a total height of 222 cm and a width of 59 cm. (lvp)
