This lot comprises three bottles of 1978 vintage Château Clinet from the Pomerol appellation in Bordeaux.

Pomerol is along with Saint-Émilion one of the best-known and most popular appellations on the right bank of the Gironde. In contrast to Médoc, the most widely used grape variety here is Merlot. The wines are more elegant and can be enjoyed sooner than the Cabernet Sauvignon blends but most do not have the same aging potential.

The 1978 vintage Clinet was rated 17 out of 20 points by René Gabriel in 1998.

The fill levels are good (top shoulder) to excellent (into neck). The labels are soiled and slightly damaged. The capsules are in perfect condition.
