A charming duo of Royal Doulton bone china figurines, Wee Willie Winkie HN2050 and Little Boy Blue HN2062. Both pieces were modeled by Leslie Harradine and depict endearing scenes from classic nursery rhymes. Wee Willie Winkie, introduced in 1949, shows a young boy in a nightshirt carrying a lantern, while Little Boy Blue, issued in 1949 as well, portrays a child with a horn in hand. Each figure is hand-painted in soft pastel tones of blue, cream, and peach, with fine detailing typical of Harradine's work. Both bear the Royal Doulton backstamp and corresponding model numbers to base.
