A charming pair of porcelain figural table lamps, marked "Made in Occupied Japan." Each lamp features a detailed hand-painted design depicting elegantly dressed 18th-century-style figures in vibrant attire. The first lamp showcases a courting couple in aristocratic fashion, while the second lamp features a rural scene with a man carrying a basket and a woman holding a lamb. The porcelain bases exhibit rich colors with gilt accents, characteristic of Occupied Japan-era decorative pieces (1945-1952). Both lamps retain their original sockets but do not include shades. Lamps measure 10" and 11"H.
