A pair of Navajo sand paintings richly decorated with traditional pottery imagery and symbolic motifs. One panel, signed and dated 2004 by Lyn Elwood, depicts a wedding vase accented with eagle claw and turquoise designs, accompanied by feathers and symbolic markings described in detail on the reverse. The second panel shows a central vessel framed by a woven basket motif, turquoise necklace, and references to Yei be chai. Both works use finely layered colored sands to create bold designs that reflect harmony, protection, and cultural tradition within Dine art.
