BATMAN (1989) - Hand-Painted Gotham 200th Anniversary Sign - A hand-painted Gotham 200th anniversary sign from Tim Burton's Batman. Signs celebrating the 200th anniversary of the founding of Gotham City appeared throughout downtown, as well as in the sequence where Joker (Jack Nicholson) hijacked a parade, including the balloon scene.

This plywood sign is hand-painted with a red, yellow, black, and white "Gotham 200th" logo featuring a city skyline on the front. The reverse is unpainted and stapled with a thin white string for hanging. It exhibits some scuffing in the paint and stray daubs of paint on the reverse, while the staples are protruding through the front. Dimensions: 30.25" x 30.25" x 0.5" (76.75 cm x 76.75 cm x 1.5 cm)
