Ros. 14.</B> Bare-headed and cuirassed bust right of Geta. <I>Reverse:</I> Bust of Alexander the Great right. <B>Large flan; Choice Very Fine.</B> <BR><BR>The Rosenberger reference doesn&#39;t identify the reverse portrayal &#40;&#34;Bust r., draped&#34;&#41;, while the Spijkerman volume states &#34;Bust of Alexander r.&#34; The future emperor Severus Alexander wasn&#39;t born until c. 208 C.E., so he meant Alexander the Great, which is a highly unusual type for city coinage, but nevertheless was used at Capitolias under Commodus.
