Included here are twenty-seven (27) Mottahedeh Chelsea Bird 8.25" Dessert Plates. Sold by Mottahedeh retailers in sets of four (4), each with different designs. We have seven (7) complete sets of four (4). One plate has a modest chip at the edge so we've indicated a quantity of twenty-seven (27) in our title. All are in mint condition, some may have paper labels affixed to the underside. The Williamsburg Chelsea Bird porcelains were inspired by the exotic bird designs found on a set of plates produced by the Chelsea Porcelain Manufactory in England between 1758 and 1769. The original dessert plates are part of the Chelsea collection at Colonial Williamsburg, and may have been executed in the London workshop of James Giles, an independent decorator who was responsible for the decoration of many pieces of Chelsea. Purchased new just a few months ago. No chips, flakes or cracks. Some may have small paper labels affixed to the underside. Our price of $42 per plate is 30% off the retail price of $60.

We also have (28) 10" dinner plates, (12) bread and butter plates, (1) 14" serving platter and (2) 12" leaf serving dishes in the same pattern.
