25 Ancient Prehistoric ARROWHEADS. These are surface finds from South Texas and are primarily made of Bandera Flint. These were used as Arrow Points and skinning tools. They date to the Archaic Period (8000-1000 BC). Bandera flint arrowheads refer to artifacts found in Bandera County, Texas often identified as Martindale points or other archaic projectile points. ARROWHEADS *While these arrowheads came from an estate of a long-time collector; we as the auction company are not going to get into a protracted discussion about age and authenticity. This collector has no paperwork or COA as to age or authenticity. While we believe the vast majority; if not all to be old; we are wholly uncomfortable with an argument with qualified and unqualified, alleged authorities. All of that to say; we are not guaranteeing age or authenticity*
