Winchester Model 1895 Takedown lever action rifle, .30-06 Government caliber, Serial #407334. The rifle is in very good overall condition with a 24” Nickel-Steel barrel, the front sight is a copper tipped knife bladestyle marked, “STEWART TACOMA” with a patent date of 1914. The rear sight has been removed and plugged and a period Lyman side mounted peep sight added during the period of use. The rifle retains approximately 90% of the muted blue finish with scuffs and scratches consistent with field use. The wooden stock has sharp, period non-factory checkering and a custom, relief engraved butt plate with oak leaves and a howling wolf has been added. The bore is good and the action is crisp on this interesting Model 1895 takedown rifle circa 1923 with dealer added features providing a “North to Alaska” feel. Est.: $1,500-$3,000. (C+R/PPT).

Buyer pays all shipping including packaging, insurance 2% of invoice shipping and all duties and all fees. We ship Federal Express, we can not ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
