Johnson Model 1842 single shot percussion pistol, .54 caliber, in very good overall condition with an 8 ½” smooth bore barrel, the pistol is 14” in total length, brass hardware, single barrel band, trigger guard,pommel, back strap and front blade sight. The lock plate is marked, “US I.N. JOHNSON” ahead of the hammer and at the rear, “MIDDTN CONN. 1853”. The barrel breech area exhibits proof marks of “US” “SK” and a small “p” stamped on the upper barrel. The left side of the breech is marked, “STEEL”. The stock has a light outline of a cartouche on the left side. The smooth wood stock is in very good condition with mars and dents fromcarry and use. The pistol retains its original swivel type steel ramrod with a button head showing pinprick pitting. Est.: $500-$1,000. (Antique).

Buyer pays all shipping including packaging, insurance 2% of invoice shipping and all duties and all fees. We ship Federal Express, we can not ship to PO Boxes.
