U.S. Schofield SA revolver, .45 caliber, Serial #1740. The pistol is in very good overall condition with a 5” barrel. The pistol retains a considerable amount of flaking nickel finish, particularly on theunderside of the barrel and back strap with the remainder going to brown patina. The pistol is stamped with authentic Wells Fargo & Company markings on the right side of the barrel lug. The markings read, “W.F. & CO.EX.”. The front sight is German silver and has been reduced during the period of use. The hammer and trigger still show muted case hardening, particularly in the protected areas. The smooth wood grips are very goodwith some small dents and compressions. The butt is marked, “U.S.” and the patent dates are legible on the left and right barrel lugs. The bore is fair, the action works well and the markings are sharp on thisdesirable Wells Fargo marked Schofield. Est.: $3,000-$6,000. (Antique).

Buyer pays all shipping including packaging, insurance 2% of invoice shipping and all duties and all fees. We ship Federal Express, we can not ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
