Winchester Model 1912 pump shotgun, 20 gauge, Serial #216. The shotgun is in fine overall condition as restored and engraved. The shotgun has a 25” barrel with a full-length solid milled rib. The shotgun retainsapproximately 99% of an old quality reblue with magnificent ornate engraving and inlay completed by the consignor for himself. The bolt and follower have been jeweled. The receiver depicts gold inlayed pointers andgame birds in a factory style. The finely checkered English Walnut replacement stocks are in very good condition with great figure and finish. The butt stock ends with a solid rubber recoil pad providing a 14” LOP. Thebore is good and the action is crisp on this custom Model 1912 manufactured in the 1st year of production. This model was referred to as the Model 1912 until it was changed to the Model 12 in 1919. Our consignor paidover $3,000 for the gun prior to restoration and engraving, for which the labor cost is estimated at over $6,000. Est.: $3,500-$7,000. (C+R/PPT).
