Collins Side by Side percussion hammer shotgun, 16 gauge, Serial #NSNV. The shotgun is in rusty relic condition with 30” Damascus steel barrels with a full-length rib marked, “COLLINS 115 REGENT ST LONDON”. The metal has all gone to dark brown patina with light engraving and “COLLINS” on the side plates. The smooth wood stock is in fair condition with a full-length replacement wooden ram rod. The shotgun shows cruderepairs using brass at the tang. The stock has numerous small cracks and areas of loss. The action is not functioning with double triggers. A small blue tag has been added at the right wrist marked, “SAZARAC VIRGINIACITY, NEVADA”. A real wall hanger from the ranch of 3rd generation pioneers in the Eastern Sierras around Carson City and Reno. Est.: $200-$400. (Antique).
