Original Partition style casing for 1851 Colt Navy with small guard (Note: states “Dad had with ’51 Navy #30300”). Rare original trade label in the lid reads “James Walsh, Importer, A Manufacturer of Guns, Pistols and rifles, 60 Main St, Richmond, VA. The case is in very good condition showing minor fading, taters, aging and impression from contact with pistol. The label is stained but very good also and authentic not a copy.Good to very good early Colt’s patent marked Navy flask with slight trace of lacquer. Very good early brass navy mold. Full hazard skin pack of cartridges with tattered label. Very good wrench with 50% blue. Eley cap tin(Belt and Pocket) for Colt with most of the label and paper but some loss. Working key included. The exterior of the casing is very good plus to almost fien with 80% varnish and normal imperfections. A desirable early andoriginal casing. From the estate of Gary Wiemann. Est.: $4,000-$8,000
