Colt Single Action Army revolver, .45 caliber, Serial #259021. The pistol is in very good to nearly fine overall condition and has been re-barreled with a 4 ¾” with a two-line barrel address. The pistol retainsapproximately 25-35% original blue finish, primarily in the protected areas with significant toning case hardening evident on the frame. There is holster wear on the left side of the muzzle and the caliber markingis roll stamped on the left side of the barrel. The barrel address is clear and crisp and the hammer is a later replacement. All matching visible serial numbers. The checkered hard rubber grips are in very goodcondition and fit well. The lot includes a Colt Factory letter confirming all features but listing the caliber as .44/40. The letter notes the pistol was shipped to the M. Hartley Company of New York, New York withthe date of shipment being October 27, 1904 in a shipment of ten firearms. The bore is bright, the action is crisp and the timing is good. Buyer pays all shipping including packaging, insurance 2% of invoice shipping and all duties and all fees. We ship Federal Express, we can not ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
