Harrington & Richardson U.S. Model 1873 Officer’s trapdoor percussion rifle, .45-70 caliber, Serial #3248. The rifle is in nearly excellent overall condition with a 26” round barrel. Blued and case hardened, therifle retains approximately 98-99% of the original finish. The rifle has a folding Beech’s style front sight and a case hardened tang sight at the rear. There is a wooden ramrod and pewter colored cap on the foreend. The bore is good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp. Est.: $600-$1,200. (Modern/PPT).
