Colt Model 1877 Storekeeper DA revolver, .38 caliber, Serial #1957. The pistol is in very good overall condition with a 3 ½” etched panel barrel. The acid etched panel is faint, but legible and the front sight is Germansilver. The pistol has gone to a mix of silver and grey patina with some original finish in the protected areas, considerable muted blue on the back strap, back of the hammer and dull case hardening still evidenton the frame. The checkered one-piece Rosewood grips are in good condition and show wear from carry and use. The lot includes a Colt Factory letter which confirms the pistols features with the type of stock notlisted. The letter indicates the pistol was shipped on October 6, 1877 to B. Kittredge and Company of Cincinnati, Ohio with 25 guns in shipment. The bore is bright, the action functions and the markings are sharp on thisfirst year production Colt Model 1877. Buyer pays all shipping including packaging, insurance 2% of invoice shipping and all duties and all fees. We ship Federal Express, we can not ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
