Pair of British Flintlock Officer’s style Pistol signed “Blissett London” in their original case. Measures 14” overall with 8 3/8” octagon barrels of .60-.62 caliber smoothbore, full stocked with attached swivel ramrods. Very good plus original condition with the majority of their original tobacco brown striped finish on the barrels, case hardening going to silvery gray on the locks, 75%-85% “Robin’s egg blue” on the triggerguards. Platinum bands with gold plugs. Hammer safeties and rollers on frizzens circa approximately 1800-20’s. A very good flintlock era flask, proper size mold, and 2 rods with extra tips (3) included. The greenwooly felt partition style case is good to very good and authentic to the period and this pair. The exterior is veneered mahogany with brass folding carry handle and mounts. The case exterior is good to very good withminor scratches, mars and aging. The brass key plate is missing. (Antique) Est.: $3000-$6000
