Rare American “Pepperbox” 6 shot pistol marked “B and B.M. Darling Patent 15” and 1836 date on the left side of the frame. .36 caliber hand revolver six shot barrel. Cluster measuring 3 1/8” and almost 7”overall. The grips are cow horn and the left shows (Worming). Very good overall condition and the hammer shows darkened original silver plate. Note: Last sold by Little John’s approximately 20 years or more ago and fromTaylor and “Dick” Bowen collection who referenced this pistol as a patent model and illustrated in a reference which we cannot locate.
