U.S. .69 caliber Musket converted by Remington with Maynard tape primer device dated 1857. Long range rear sight and percussion breech marked “1857 L F 44”. Good to very good overall condition with scattered light pitting erosion. Good markings and fairly crisp edges. The stock is good to very good with normal bumps, dings, mars and small losses. A period ramrod is included. Outlines of cartouches showing on left sideof the stock. Primer mechanism is complete and the lock works well. A 7+ on a 1-10 scale. (Antique) Est.: $1000-$2000
