18th to early 19th century belt axe with spike type carried by early American frontiersman. 10” from edge to top of the spike. Period shaft with a square nail repair to tighten head. Shaft measure 13”. The head is forged steel in good condition with dark patina and minor rust and erosion on the axe portion. The shaft shows a few minor splits but good with uncleaned patina and natural aging. Est.: $350-$700

Buyer pays all shipping including packaging, insurance 2% of invoice shipping and all duties and all fees. We ship Federal Express, we can not ship to PO Boxes.
