1795 Model Virginia manufactured flintlock musket dated 1803. Measures 54” overall with a 39” barrel known as “Artillery Model” refer Flayderman 9A-086. Original flintlock parts and remaining in very good plus conditionwith light erosion and pinprick pitting on metal and slight fresh rust. The stock has been lightly refreshed with some losses at the edges of fore end and along the ramrod channel with light refinishing. The stock islight in color and shows a select fiddleback grain almost commercial quality and could be a period of use restock. Tang stamped (PX 48 ARA). Good lock markings and “P” proof visible at the left side of breech. .69caliber with correct style ramrod. (Antique) Est.: $2000-$4000
