U.S. Model 1816 Type III .69 caliber flintlock musket marked “R. Johnson” with U.S. and eagle at the center of the lock and dated “1834 Middleton, Conn.”. All features as standard on this model (Refer: Flayderman9A-213). The tang near breech dated 1839. Good to very good condition with some minor pitting, light rust and erosion. Sharp marking and good edges. All original flintlock parts. Visible outlines of twocartouches. The stocks show light coating of old varnish but no sanding. Original swivels and no ramrod. The lock works well and tight. (Antique) Est.: $1000-$2000

Buyer pays all shipping including packaging, insurance 2% of invoice shipping and all duties and all fees. We ship Federal Express, we can not ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
