Pair of cased large bore sea captains or belt pistols marked “Sargant Brothers”. The father originally worked in Birmingham and the sons moved to London about 1847. The pair are in fine to excellent original conditionshowing 98%+ bright and fiery case colors and rich tobacco brown on striped barrels. The trigger guards show 98%-99% bright high polish blue finish. The stocks are also fine with minimal light handling marks and slightaging. The proper size mold is “W.D.” marked and in excellent condition. Also included is a very good flask, oiler, cap tin and rod. The interior is lined in green felt with minor impressions and staining. The caseexterior shows a crack and light cleaning but at least very good overall. A strong 9 on a 1-10 scale with stunning original finishes. (Antique) Est.: $3000-$6000
