Pair of cased dueling pistols signed “H. Nock London”. Measures 13 ½” overall with a 8 ¼” octagon barrel of approximately .60 caliber smoothbore. A quality conversion by Nock or London gunsmith in our opinion with nicelyengraved bolsters and hammers. The pair show most of their original tobacco brown finish with striped patterns on the barrels and dulling case colors on the locks. The guards show 30%-60% original blue. The stocks aregood plus with crisp checkering. Minor scratches and storage marks. Both pistols are working but 1 does not hold on full cock unless trigger set and needs adjustment. The flask, mold, key and rod is included. Thegreen felt lining is very good with minor fraying, wear at contact points and aging. The case is brass bound oak and shows brass carry type ring. The exterior of the case is good with normal aging, wear and minorcleaning with steel wool. A major London maker. (Antique) Est.: $2000-$4000
