Center Hammer All Brass Flintlock Pistols signed “Manton London” circa late 18th century. (1781-1799). Measures 12” overall with a 5 ¼” staged and ringed screw off cannon barrels of approximately .52-.54caliber smoothbore. British proofed with lightly engraved frames showing Manton in oval on the left and London on the right side. Silver wire inlaid stocks that is almost all intact. The actions work well andoriginal flintlock parts. The stocks are very good plus with minor losses at the juncture of the frame and metal. Some polishing but not “Rubbed Out” with engravings and markings well defined. Cased in a later English style partition case with flask, wood accessory box, mold and great combination pick and parts container. The box is good to very good and though not period it has some age.
