Cased pair of large bore officer’s style pistols by “John Blissett London” in percussion. 7/8” stocked to muzzle with attached swivel ramrods in approximately .70-.72 caliber smoothbore. Measures 14”overall with 8” heavy round barrels. Good quality with lightly engraved locks and mounts. Platinum band and plug in bolster. 30%-50% original brown on striped barrels and traces of case hardening showing well onlocks. Some scattered erosion and beginning light pitting. The locks are sound and crisp. The stocks are good to very good. The interior Is recessed wood painted to appear like green felt and is original to the period in our opinion. Flask of proper size, cap wrench, rod, oiler and extra rod tip with brush and balls all included. No mold in the box for these huge size balls. (Antique) Est.: $1500-$3000
