18th century Italian Snaphance pistol with chiseled steel decoration and carved and striped circasian walnut stock. Portraits chiseled in relief on the butt, wrist plaque and trigger guard. Also, serpents, masks andfaces with fancy work on the hammer and frizzen. The original belt hook is retained along with all original flintlock parts. The action works well and pan retracts when hammer released. Fancy raised carved selectwood stocks. The pistol is in very good to almost fine original condition with minor aging and slight imperfections. Original to the period horn tipped ramrod with metal worm on end. A strong 9 on a 1-10 scale. Buyer pays all shipping including packaging, insurance 2% of invoice shipping and all duties and all fees. We ship Federal Express, we can not ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
