U.S. Model 1861 3 band rifled .58 caliber musket dated 1863 on rear of the lock and marked “U.S. Trenton also “V P” and eagle proof along with “B” star proof on the left breech. Original very god condition withexcellent eagle stamp and markings on the lock. Bright finish is uncleaned with minor scattered erosion and light pitting. The stock is very good with well-defined ridges and edges and only minor losses along ramrodchannel (No cartouche visible). Correct, bands, rod, sights and small parts. Good action and rifling intact and good bore with some wear to the rifling. Last sold Ed Johnson 1861 rifle collection by LittleJohn’s in the 1990s. (Antique) Est.: $800-$1600

Buyer pays all shipping including packaging, insurance 2% of invoice shipping and all duties and all fees. We ship Federal Express, we can not ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
