European made and imported variant 1860 Cavalry sabre with scabbard showing very old paper tag printed “26th spate Co, N.G.N.Y., Elmira N.Y.”. The condition is good with no cleaning and as found. Normal aging with dent to front of the scabbard, losses to the leather on grip, normal aging and small imperfections. Most likely a veteran’s hall or G.A.R. Company display sword. Est.: $400-$800
