1840 Artillery Officer’s Grade Saber showing gilted and leaf decorated hilt. Tag attached reads “Former Collection of, Harry D. Berry Jr., Baltimore, MD”. Pieces of his noted collection are pictured in “The AmericanSword” by Harold Peterson. Good overall condition with scabbard showing heavy brown patina and rust. About 60%-70% rich gold gilt with balance a dark patina. The grip is very good plus with almost excellent wrap. Theblade is very good showing small foreign proof (French Style). Est.: $700-$1400

Buyer pays all shipping including packaging, insurance 2% of invoice shipping and all duties and all fees. We ship Federal Express, we can not ship to PO Boxes.
