Presentation Grade 1860 Staff and Field Officer’s Sword inscribed on the hilt “Presented to Major General, C. Whitney Tillinghast 2nd, Adjutant General, State of New York, By His Friends in the PafraetsDael”. High quality and deluxe case and chased mounts with pierce guard showing eagle and shield. Matching mounts on original scabbard and also original pearl grip. The blade is also etched in patriotic motifs andmarked “Ridabock & Co Agents New York” with “Made in France”.
