Measures 13 ½” overall with a 7 7/8” heavy round barrel that is rifled and approximately .54-.56 caliber. Simple engraved brass mounts that are purely American in their native design. The lock and barrel show a dark almost black patina and all original flintlock parts. There is a typical starengraved half down the barrel and floral like 2 tulips at the center of the lock. The stock is inlaid with a small plaque professionally inscribed “A. Joy”. The stock shows an old break and brass plate securedwith screws to repair. The lock has been secured by two metal studs or bolts that are old forged repairs.
