Unusual and ornate French center hammer flintlock pistol circa late 18th to early 19th century signed “Brebier Bordeaux”. The pistol is sheathed in silver and then hand engraved. Also there is fancy silver strapwork on the back of the stock, engraved butt cap and silver trigger guard. The condition is very good overall with correct small parts. The stock has been cleaned lightly but at least very good. The action is workingand tight. Measures 10” overall with a 3 ¾” two stage cannon type barrel of approximately .50 caliber smooth bore.
