Early British Flintlock Military Pistol from Queen Anne era (Circa 1702-1714) showing “A R” and crown at the center of the lock with proofs on the barrel and below pan and signed “Dymon” on the rear of the lock plate. Shows very early flintlock feature of unbridled pan, banana shaped lock, 3 screws in the lock with no side plate or escutcheons along with steel trigger guard with brass butt cap and 1 ramrod Ferrell (No rear Ferrell in foreend). Screw in front of the trigger to a fix barrel into the stock. Measures 20” overall with a 11 ½” barrel of approximately .54-.56 smoothbore caliber. Very good metal surfaces with correct lock parts of original flintlock era. The stock is also very good with light cleaning and minor imperfections. Rare and a desirable early English flintlock military pistol. Correct style ramrod. (Antique) Est.: $3500-$7000
