18th Century Double locked flintlock musket for super Imposed loads into 1 barrel marked “G.A.” on both locks. Northern European and circa about 1710-1740 with banana shape to the locks and unbridled frizzen. 39 ½” barrel of approximately 16 GA and full stocked to muzzle with early style patch box. Simple brass mounts and light engraving and carving in a paramilitary early style slings for swivels. Round barrel with flattened top with sight groove at the rear and two dove tails for rear sights (Missing). Metal surfaces show light to moderate pitting and were cleaned long ago but not “Rubbed Out” and toning back. All correct flintlock parts. The stocks show some worming and are generally good to very good with minor losses, slight imperfections and normal aging. A significant rarity. (Antique) Est.: $3500-$7000
