Mansfield and Lamb Model 1860 light cavalry saber dated 1865. Primary saber of the Federal Cavalry. Chromed throughout by previous owner. Has “U.S.//G.W.C.//1865” stamped on obverse ricasso, and the“Mansfield & Lamb//Forestdale, R.I” logo on the reverse ricasso. Stamped on pommel are “M”, “T.M.” and “2A”. The saber is 42-7/8” overall and the Blade is 34-7/8”. Chromed scabbard is missing the throat and is stamped “K7”, “73” and “J-C” on drag. Est.: $300-$600
