Up for auction is a King Edward VII Royal Navy Long Service and Good Conduct Medal in good condition. The Medal includes a replacement white and blue striped ribbon, and the Medal has a nice aged silver patina with good detailing on both sides. The Obverse depicts a leftwards facing King Edward VII with "EDWARDVS VII REX IMPERATOR" surrounding. The reverse depicts a detailed sailing ship in center, with "FOR LONG SERVICE AND GOOD CONDUCT" surrounding. The Medal is correctly named:
"150935 H.J. YOUNG, P.O. 1 CL.. H.M.S. VIVID."
This would be an excellent addition to any Royal Navy Medal collection, and an interestign research project.
